Dan Gohl, Broward Schools’ Chief Academic Officer, was able to meet with Broward’s new cohort of Global Scholar teachers via videoconferencing. Christine Semisch, middle school Cadre Director, was there representing the Office of School Performance and Accountability.
Participants from the Instruction and Interventions division included Dr. Daryl Diamond and staff from Innovative Learning & Arts as well as Secondary Curriculum Supervisors from Literacy; Math, Science, and Gifted; and the Bilingual/ESOL Departments. Camille Edwards and LoriAyn Stickler (Project Manager, Technology & Instruction) facilitated the conversation with Tara Welch from Global Scholars, who participated with us from New York City via videoconferencing.
